JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
Ralph: the yard, which is basically a basketball hoop
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
Ralph: i never went out
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail?
Ralph: not at all, i got in shape real good
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise?
Ralph: there is no outside
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held?
Ralph: they were held in a class room

I'm not proud of this ,I've been in the armstrong county jail a few times myself and lets get to the real problems, they have people sleeping on cots in almost every cell where either your head or your feet are inches from the toilet and when another inmate urinates in the middle of the night urine splashes on the person on the cot or their bedding. their is no recreation, they have an indoor gym that the inmates can't use.The food is ALWAYS cold. their mattress are so worn that you can feel the steel under them.they are housing state inmates at the moment and yet they don't have enough room for their own county inmates.When is someone on the county prison board going to take notice and stop this cruel and "usual" punishment.Just because someone has broke the law or has been accused of it and is being held in the armstrong county jail does not give the warden, and the prison board the right to treat inmates this way! And I'm sure, no I'm positive this will continue...

MY SON IS THERE FOR MINOR FELONY . THEY TREAT THE INMATES WORST THAN HUMANS TREAT DOGS. REHABILITATION ? WHAT A JOKE. IM NOT RICH SO I CAN'T FIGTH FOR THER FREEDDOM LIKE ANDY REIDS SONS.
